ANTALYA - Deputy Prime Minister & Finance Minister Didier Reynders of Belgium said on Friday that his country supported opening of accession talks between Turkey and the European Union (EU).
Reynders paid a visit to Antalya Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ATSO).
Referring to economic developments in Turkey, Reynders said that drop in inflation and continuation of the economic growth were positive steps.
Highlighting the importance of structural reforms especially in banking sector, Reynders said that Turkey should start preparing draft budgets covering a period of at least three years.
Meanwhile, ATSO Chairman Kemal Ozgen said that 11 thousand Belgians visited Antalya last year, stressing that they expected the number of Belgian tourists to increase in 2004.
