SHARM EL SHEIKH - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan is holding bilateral talks with ministers from African Countries in Sharm el Sheikh city of Egypt, where he is attending the executive council meeting of the 11th African Union heads of state and government summit.
Babacan first met Malavi Foreign Minister Joyce Hilda Binda on Thursday. This was the first meeting ever between the foreign ministers of the two countries.
Babacan also met Ghana`s Foreign Minister Alvasi Osei Adjei and Mozambique`s Foreign Minister Oldemiro Baloi and discussed relations and trade opportunities between Turkey and these countries.
Babacan later met Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki.
Malki told reporters after the meeting that they discussed bilateral relations and the recent developments in the Middle East.
