U.S. Olympic Basketball Dream Team To Come To Turkey

ISTANBUL - The U.S. Olympic basketball team comprising NBA players will come to Istanbul tomorrow (Saturday) for two exhibitions matches against Turkey.
Looking to re-establish the U.S. as the world's dominant basketball power, the ''Dream Team'' will play their last two training matches against Turkey ahead of the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
The Dream Team will travel from Belgrade to Istanbul after their tonight's exhibition match against world champions Serbia and Montenegro.
A buzzer-beating three-pointer from Allen Iverson gave the U.S. a narrow 80-77 exhibition win against Germany in Cologne on Wednesday and spared them a second straight defeat in their European tour. The U.S. suffered a 95-78 drubbing at the hands of Italy the night before.
They will play their last two games against Turkey in the Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall in Istanbul on August 8 and 10.
The U.S. team has these players:
Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury, Dwayne Wade, Carlos Boozer, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Emeka Okafor, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudamire, Tim Duncan, Lamar Odom and Richard Jefferson.
