KOMOTINI - Mehmet Emin Aga, the elected Mufti of Xanthi, returned to Western Thrace after receiving medical treatment in Turkey.
Aga said on Thursday, ''I have regained my health. I want to express my gratitude to Turkey and the doctors of the Gulhane Military Medical Faculty for their close interest.''
Mufti Mehmet Emin Aga was taken to the Xanthi Hospital on May 13, 2004 after suffering cerebral hemorrhage but was later brought to Turkey upon his family's request.
