ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam, continues its negotiations on technical matters in Ankara.
Sources said on Thursday that IMF delegation actually focuses attention on six matters which are macro framework, balance of payments, budgetary policies, budget financing, banking reform and monetary policies .
Sources said six different teams, comprising experts from Finance Ministry, Treasury Undersecretariat, State Planning Organization, Central Bank and Savings Deposits and Insurance Funds, are conducting discussions with the IMF delegation.
Sources said that Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan and State Minister Ali Babacan would also be in attendance at a meeting in the Finance Ministry later today, and discussions would continue in the Treasury Undersecretariat under chairmanship of Babacan.
IMF delegation is expected to depart from Turkey on Friday.
