Istanbul Jazz Festival To Start On July 2nd

ISTANBUL - The 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival will start with a concert of Herbie Hancock on July 2nd.
Hancock will give two concerts at Open-air Hall on July 2nd, and Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall on July 3rd.
Bassist Dave Holland, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, saxophonist Chris Potter and guitarist Lionel Loueke will accompany Hancock during his performances.
Hancock previously participated in Istanbul Jazz Festival in 1996 and 2002.
Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12th, 1940) is an Academy Award and Grammy award-winning American jazz pianist and composer. He embraces elements of rock and soul while adopting freer stylistic elements from jazz.
