Turkey's President Gul In Japan

OSAKA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul has expressed his belief that his visit to Japan would yield fruitful results in the coming days.
After attending the memorial in the Japanese town of Kushimoto to commemorate Turkish sailors who lost their lives when the Ertugrul Frigate of the Ottoman Empire sunk off Japan`s Pacific coasts 118 years ago, President Gul and the accompanying delegation proceeded to Osaka, the second biggest city and commercial capital of Japan.
President Gul did not answer journalists` questions about the recent ruling of the Constitutional Court.
"My talks with Japanese authorities focused on economic, commercial and cultural aspects of our bilateral relations and international developments. I also had the change of holding talks with executives of leading Japanese companies. I believe that this visit will yield fruitful results in the coming days," he said.
Later, President Gul partook in a luncheon hosted in his honor by Japanese Kankeiren Business Delegation in Osaka.
