Turkey's Main Fixed-line Phone Company Announces 320 Mln Usd Net Profit In Q1

ISTANBUL - Turk Telekom, Turkey`s biggest fixed-line provider, reported a net profit of 398.6 million YTL (nearly 320 million USD) in the first quarter of 2008, down from a 514.8 million USD over same period in 2007.
The company said its sales revenues increased 13 percent to reach some 2.4 billion YTL (nearly 1.9 billion USD) in Q1 in 2008 over the same period last year.
