IZMIR - The 22nd International Izmir Festival will take place between June 9th and July 22nd in Turkish Aegean province of Izmir.
The festival will be organized by Izmir Foundation for Culture Arts & Education (IKSEV).
The festival will be inaugurated by Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay.
Vienna Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra and Romanian-Austrian pianist Mihaela Ursuleasa will give the opening concert of the festival.
Indian conductor Zubin Mehta and Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino will give the closing concert of the festival.
