Three outlawed PKK separatists were killed on Monday in clashes that took place in the Ovacik district of the Tunceli province of Turkey, the Dogan News Agency said on Monday, while Turkey's state-run Anatolian Agency reported two outlawed PKK separatists were killed in the clashes.
One Turkish soldier was killed and four others were injured in the explosion of a landmine planted by the outlawed separatist PKK in the mountainous area in Semdinli town of the Hakkari province of Turkey, the Anatolian Agency reported.
Turkey and most of the international community, including the U.S. and the EU, consider the PKK a terrorist organization.
