MERSIN - Egypt's top diplomat in Ankara Alaa Al Hadidi said Thursday Egyptian entrepreneurs prefer the province of Istanbul for business.
Speaking at a business seminar held in southern province of Mersin and sponsored by the Turkish-Arabic Businessmen's Association (TURAB), ambassador Hadidi said that "there are many provinces in Turkey suitable for trade aside from Istanbul, including Izmir, Kayseri, Adana, Mersin and Gaziantep".
"These provinces must be promoted as urgently as possible", Hadidi said.
Chairman of TURAB Dogan Narin said that Turkish investments in Egypt are worth around 800 million USD.
"Turkish investments in Egypt would be worth two billion USD in the next two years", Narin also said.
