ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of Turkish Central Bank dropped by 4.2 billion USD as of May 30th and was at 74.5 billion USD, the bank said on Thursday.
The reserves were 78.3 billion USD on May 23rd.
In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said its total gross reserves (foreign currency plus gold) increased to 130.4 billion USD on May 23rd. They were around 127.1 billion USD on May 16th.
Meanwhile, Turkey repaid 76.2 million USD in foreign debt between June 2nd and 4th.
Turkey repaid 7.9 billion USD in foreign debt between January 1st and June 4th, 2008.
