Sweden Appoints New Consul General To Istanbul

STOCKHOLM - Torkel Stiernlof will replace Ingmar Kalsson as Sweden's new consul general in Istanbul.
According to a press release issued by the Swedish Foreign Ministry, Stiernlof will begin serving in Istanbul as of fall.
Stiernlof formerly served in the United Nations and Middle Eastern countries.
