ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the phone on Wednesday.
Russian Embassy in Ankara stated on Thursday that Erdogan telephoned Putin, and they discussed commercial and economic relations between the two countries.
Erdogan and Putin agreed to boost cooperation regarding export and import of food products. They also discussed energy issues.
Putin also invited Erdogan to Russia.
