ISTANBUL - Turkey had become a country which was more resilient against external shocks, Turkey's industry minister said on Thursday.
Speaking at Turkey Business and Investment Summit in Istanbul, Industry & Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan said sound cooperation between public and private sectors was one of the basic conditions to boost a country's economy.
"There has been a great transformation in Turkish economy in the recent years. Remarkable structural reforms have been fulfilled in the country. We will work to boost investment climate of Turkey," Caglayan said.
Turkey had received a foreign direct capital of 47.3 billion USD in the past five years, he stated.
