ANKARA - A reception was held at the local Swedish Embassy on Wednesday to celebrate the Swedish company Saab's new office in Ankara.
Swedish Ambassador in Ankara Christer Asp hosted the reception which was attended by many dignitaries, including deputy chairman of the Justice and Development (AK) Party Egemen Bagis.
In a short speech delivered at the reception, Asp said that "Saab's new office in Ankara is an indication of close relations between Turkey and Sweden".
Saab is one of Sweden's biggest corporations employing 13,800 people and with annual sales worth 2.5 billion euros.
Saab corporation is involved in diverse fields, including aerospace, electronics, weapons systems, and communications.
