Erdogan Attends Foundation-laying Ceremony In Kayseri

KAYSERI - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended foundation-laying ceremony of 139 factories in central province of Kayseri on Saturday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Erdogan said, ''these factories will trigger a new era and a new transformation period in Turkey. After they start production, these factories reduce unemployment.''
''Turkey has become a country of confidence and stability since the day when the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) came to political power in November of 2002,'' he said.
Recalling that Turkey applied to the European Union (EU) for membership some 41 years ago, Prime Minister Erdogan said, ''according to my point of view, we have already entered the EU since we have thousands of investors in several European countries.''
