PARIS - Environment ministers of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries convened in Paris on Tuesday and reviewed "Turkey Environmental Study" report.
Turkish Environment & Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu, addressing the meeting, gave information to participants about the studies carried out in Turkey on environment in the recent years.
Speaking to reporters after the session, Eroglu said OECD environment ministers welcomed decision of Turkey`s Council of Ministers to open Kyoto Protocol to signature and submit to the parliament.
Eroglu also said OECD environment ministers appreciated studies carried out by Turkey.
