ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan said on Monday that Turkey and Algeria assumed a common stance in international relations as well as bilateral relations.
Toptan hosted dinner in honor of Abdelaziz Ziari of Algeria who is currently paying a state visit to Turkey.
"I believe that this visit will boost cooperation between Turkey and Algeria in every area," Toptan said while speaking at the dinner and noted that relations between the two parties would improve with reciprocal visits of friendship groups and experts commissions.
Algerian Parliament Speaker Ziari said this visit would add momentum to bilateral relations.
Ziari said he wanted Algerian deputies to get into contact with the Turkish MPs on matters that may have an impact on common interests of the two countries.
Ziari said coordination was necessary on many issues, and invited Toptan to Algeria.
