EDIRNE - Governors of border provinces of Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria met in Turkey on Monday and discussed human trafficking and modern woman trade.
Governor of Turkish northwestern province of Edirne Mustafa Buyuk hosted governors from Greece`s Xanthi and Evros as well as Bulgaria`s Haskovo and Smolen.
Governors issued a joint statement following the meeting and agreed to support victims of human trafficking during their extradition procedures, give them psychological help and reinforce security systems in these countries.
