ISTANBUL - Turkish football club Besiktas agreed with Austrailan-born Croatian defender Anthony Seric, club officially said in a statement on Monday.
Besiktas said club officials agreed on a three-year (one year optional) contract and would pay a total of 1.65 million Euros for the first two years and 600,000 for the optional year.
29-year-old Seric began his professional football career in Split, Croatia where he played for Hajduk Split. He then moved to Italy to play in Serie A, initially with Verona and then Brescia, Parma and Lazio, before signing for Panathinaikos in 2005.
