ARDAHAN - Turkey`s exports in May increased by 34.4 percent when compared to the same term in 2007 and reached 12.2 billion USD, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) said on Sunday.
Chairman of TIM Oguz Satici made public export figures for May in a press conference held in the eastern province of Ardahan.
According to Satici, Turkey`s exports between January and May increased by 36.6 percent compared to the same term last year and reached a value of 55.7 billion USD.
Turkey`s exports between May 2007 and May 2008 reached 120.6 billion USD.
