ANKARA - Turkey`s premier underlined on Saturday the importance of rule of law for his government.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that rule of law was a sine qua non condition for his Justice & Development (AK) Party and government.
"We are working to increase capital inflow in Turkey, and the international capital closely monitors developments in Turkey and tries to understand what is going on," Erdogan said during a meeting of the Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
Erdogan implied that Turkey had to choose between an open or a closed society, and said that Turkey never deserved the times experienced by iron curtain countries.
The Turkish premier also reaffirmed his government`s determination to boost atmosphere of confidence and get democratized.
