We Are Bothered By A Possible Prolonged Closure Case, Erdogan

KIZILCAHAMAM - Turkish Prime Minister said Saturday his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party was bothered by a possible prolonged closure case against it.
Speaking at a consultative meeting of his Justice & Development (AK) Party in Kizilcahamam, Ankara, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the longer the closure case against the AK Party continued, the more likely was the Turkish economy to get affected negatively.
"The closure case should end as soon as possible so that Turkey does not go through economic problems", Erdogan noted.
"Global investors seek stability and confidence in the Turkish market. Not seeing stability or confidence, global investors would be reluctant to invest in Turkey", Erdogan said.
"We are confident that the Turkish democracy and legal system will be strengthened when a decision is made on the closure of the AK Party", Erdogan said.
"There are circles who are not happy about Turkey`s achievements and richness. It is not possible to ignore Turkey`s recent success in economic development and democratization", Erdogan also said.
