ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party considered bugging of people illegally as intervention to private life regardless of what it served for and targeted.
Speaking after his AK Party Central Executive Board meeting, Erdogan said, "we have been struggling to achieve the most contemporary and advanced standards in democracy since the foundation of AK Party. Turkey is a rule of law. Turkish government will never allow illegal acts and injustice."
Turkey`s main opposition party claimed that security forces bugged party headquarters after a private conversation between Republican People`s Party (CHP) SG Onder Sav and a former governor was published in the "Vakit" newspaper.
