Foreign Trade Figures Announced

ANKARA - Turkey`s export figure increased 37 percent to 11.3 billion USD in April, 2008 when compared with the same month of 2007.
Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) stated on Friday that import figure rose 38.3 percent to 17.8 billion USD in April, 2008.
Foreign trade deficit increased 40.8 percent from 4.6 billion USD to 6.4 billion USD in April, 2008.
