ANKARA - Turkish Environment & Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu said on Friday that he sent a note to the MFA expressing his positive view on the approbation of Turkey`s becoming part of Kyoto Protocol.
Eroglu told reporters that Global Climate Change Committee convened on Monday and discussed whether to adopt Kyoto Protocol.
Eroglu said that he sent a note about the issue to Foreign Ministry. He added that the note would be submitted first to the government; prime minister would assess it, and then transfer it to Parliament.
