IZMIR - A Polish delegation led by Poland Embassy`s Charge d`Affairs Krzysztof Lewandowski visited Chamber of Commerce of western province of Izmir on Friday.
Akin Kazancoglu, an executive from Izmir Chamber of Commerce, said that current trade volume between Turkey and Poland exceeded three billion USD.
Kazancoglu said that the trade volume between the two country was 584,000 USD in 2002. He added that trade figures were very balanced. He said that export and import figures were very close to each other.
Kazancoglu said that Izmir`s export figure to Poland was 40 million USD.
He said that 700 Turkish companies had 100 million USD of investment in Poland. He added that joint investment of 16 Polish companies with Turkish firms in Turkey was nearly 800,000 USD.
