ANKARA - Turkey and New Zealand have signed a bilateral air transport agreement in order to arrange flights between the two countries and to cooperate in other areas related to civil aviation.
Turkish Civil Aviation Dept. stated on Friday that the agreement was signed by the Director General Ali Ariduru and John Mucilree, who headed New Zealander delegation, in Ankara on May 28th, 2008.
Under the agreement, companies of both countries will be able to use all available airports in Turkey and New Zealand.
According to the agreement Turkey and New Zealand are to cooperate in areas such as ground services, maintenance, training, engineering and other technical issues.
Turkey has so far signed similar agreements with 90 countries.
