Security Forces Impound 274 Kg Of Heroin At Ambarli Customs Gate

ISTANBUL - Security forces impounded 274 kg of heroin at Istanbul's Ambarli border gate on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces searched a truck at the border gate, and founded the heroin hidden in the truck with the aid of sniffer dogs.
Three people including driver of the truck was detained.
Sources said that the heroin worth of millions of U.S. dollars, was destined for the Netherlands via Italy.
A full investigation into illicit drug trafficking is under way.
