LEIPZIG - Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said on Thursday that the cooperation, which was pursued between Turkey and Germany, mainly focused on education and reconstruction of railway transportation.
Yildirim, who is currently in Leipzig, Germany to attend International Transport Forum (ITF), told reporters that ITF`s theme this year was climate change and energy-transportation relation. He said that there were ceratin factors which polluted air due to transportation. He added that he would convey Turkey`s views about this matter during the forum.
Yildirim said that Turkey would take over term presidency of ITF for 2008-2009 period from Finland.
Yildirim also said that he held bilateral talks regarding transportation today.
