ERZINCAN - Turkey`s 41st hydroelectric plant has started generating electricity in the eastern province of Erzincan.
The Calkisla Hydroelectric Plant, constructed by a private company, will produce 17 million kilowatt/hour electricity energy annually.
"The hydroelectric plant was constructed on Calkisla river," Ic-En Electricity Operation Director Behcet Kocak told reporters on Thursday.
Kocak said hydroelectric power plant costed 10 million USD.
