EDIRNE - Security forces intercepted 135 migrants in Ipsala, Enez and Uzunkopru towns of northwestern province of Edirne as they were trying to proceed to Greece illegally, sources said on Thursday.
The migrants of Algerian, Bangladeshi, Burmese, Somalian, Sri Lankan, Mauritanian, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian and Iraqi origin were taken into custody for violating Turkish borders and passport law.
They will be deported once the legal proceedings are completed.
