ADAPAZARI - South Korean and Dutch technical delegations visited on Thursday the scene of last week's high-speed train derailment near Pamukova town of northwestern province of Sakarya.
Sources told the A.A correspondent that an eight-member team of South Korean State Railways examined the rail in the scene of the crash.
Turkish State Railways (TCDD) Deputy Director General Erol Inal accompanied members of the technical delegation.
Another delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Coenraad Esveld from the Dutch Delft University also visited the scene.
A total of 38 people were killed and 80 others were injured when a high-speed train derailed near Pamukova town of Sakarya on July 22, 2004.
