Syrian Tourism Representatives In Turkish Cypriot State To Seek Cooperation Opportunities

LEFKOSA - Representatives of Syrian tourism sector are visiting the Turkish Cypriot state to seek cooperation opportunities.
Representatives of Syrian tourism industry arrived in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Monday, and met their Turkish Cypriot colleagues on Tuesday to boost tourism between the two countries.
"We have initiated good relations in economy, trade, tourism, education, culture and sports and this will last forever," Turkish Cypriot Foreign Minister Turgay Avci said during a workshop between Turkish Cypriot and Syrian executives.
Zeina Tabbaa, the director of Syrian "Tabbaa Travel and Tourism", said that Syrian tourism and travel agencies were ready to cooperate with their Turkish Cypriot colleagues.
The Syrian delegation will depart from TRNC on Thursday.
Representatives of Turkish Cypriot tourism sector paid a visit to Syria between April 29th and May 2nd.
