ISTANBUL - "Turkish-Tunisian Businessmen Meeting" was held in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Tunisian Foreign Minister Abdelwaheb Abdallah, who spoke at the meeting, said that Turkey and Tunisia could cooperate and fulfill very successful projects in the region.
Abdallah said that Turkey undertook many important projects in Tunisia, adding that both countries should do their best to further develop the relations.
He said that trade volume between the two countries exceeded 700 million USD, adding that the increase in trade volume was 48.25 percent compared to previous year.
Abdallah said that the investment amount of Turkish businessmen, who implemented 21 projects in Tunisia, reached 60 million USD.
Abdallah invited Turkish businessmen to make more investments in his country.
