DIYARBAKIR - Turkey`s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that welfare and freedom were the foes of terrorism.
Premier Erdogan unveiled an action plan in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir, that aimed to boost social and economic development in this region, and defined it as a "project of brotherhood."
"As long as welfare spreads and freedoms are broadened, all our people will win and it will be the terrorist organization who will lose," the prime minister told a gathering at a sports hall in Diyarbakir.
Erdogan showed democracy and freedom, investments and production, confidence and stability as some of the remedies to solve problems of Turkey.
"There cannot be development if there is no confidence and stability, and there cannot be development, peace and welfare if there is terrorism and violence," he said.
Erdogan said every one had seen the inhuman face of the terrorist organization, and the terrorist organization had been isolated inside and outside, thanks to multilateral and multidimensional fight Turkey was carrying.
Premier Erdogan said Turkey was implementing political, military, diplomatic, socio-cultural and socio-economic measures synchronously.
"The area in which the terrorist organization is trying to exist will get narrower each passing day, thanks to our recent steps," he also said.
The Turkish prime minister said that every people living in Turkey were the free and equal citizens of the same nation and republic.
What the government was trying to do was to win all the people living in Turkey without making any discrimination, he also said.
