World Geologists To Meet In Sivas

SIVAS - Geologists from 40 countries will convene at a meeting in Central Anatolian province of Sivas aiming to assess important issues of geological research.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A. correspondent, Cumhuriyet University Geology Department Lecturer Prof. Durmus Boztug said Sivas would host an important international meeting that would take place within the scope of International Geological Correlation Program (IGCP) projects supported by UNESCO and International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) since 1972.
