ISTANBUL - Istanbul Gold Exchange (IAB) announced Monday that it became the 27th member of World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).
A press release issue by IAB said WFDB admitted it to membership unanimously during the 33rd WFDB congress in China.
Along with Turkey, Panama and Australia were also admitted as members during the congress.
Founded in 1947 to unite and to provide bourses, trading in rough and polished diamonds and precious stones, with a common set of trading practice, the WFDB provides a legal framework and convenes to enact regulations for its member diamond bourses.
