Aselsan Signs Contract With Azerbaijani Defense Ministry

ISTANBUL - Turkish Aselsan Electronic Industry & Trade Corp. signed a 2.3 million USD worth contract with Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
Aselsan said on Monday that the contract on procurement and delivery of squad radios and accessories was signed on May 24th, 2008.
The contract will go into effect after approval of Azerbaijani Council of Ministers and Aselsan will complete the delivery of all products within 2009.
Aselsan was founded by Turkish Armed Forces Foundation at the end of 1975 to produce tactical military radios and electronic systems for Turkish Armed Forces and started production at Ankara facilities in early 1979.
