ANKARA - Turkey`s parliament speaker will hold a series of talks in Romania between May 27th and 30th.
Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan will leave for Romania on Tuesday upon the invitation of his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Olteanu.
Toptan, who will begin his talks in Bucharest on Wednesday, will first meet Olteanu and President of the Romanian Senate Nicolae Vacaroiu. He will attend a luncheon to be hosted in his honor by Olteanu and then visit the parliament building.
Toptan will also hold talks with Romanian President Traian Basescu and Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu on Wednesday. He will later meet representatives of the Turkish community in Romania at a reception at the Turkish Embassy.
Turkish parliament speaker will proceed to Constanta on Thursday.
He will meet the mayor and governor of Constanta during his two-day stay in this city.
A parliamentary delegation will accompany Toptan during his visit to Romania.
Toptan is expected to return to Turkey on Friday.
