Greek General Staff Chief In Ankara

ANKARA - Turkish General Staff Chief Gen. Yasar Buyukanit met his Greek counterpart Gen. Dimitrios Grapsas, who is currently in Ankara on an official visit.
Speaking at the visit, Gen. Grapsas said that Turkey and Grecee were quite lucky to have great leaders like Ataturk and VenizeloS.
Gen. Buyukanit said that he was pleased to host Gen. Grapsas in Turkey.
"If we, as soldiers, provide a secure environment, then politicians will be able to set up better dialogue," he said.
Gen. Grapsas visited the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk before the meeting.
