ANKARA - Turkey won four gold and two bronze medals at the Hearing-Impaired World Taekwando Championships.
In the championships held at France`s Toulouse city, Turkish men won three gold and two bronze medals while 49 kg Tugba Serim became the world champion in the women`s category.
In men`s category, 58 kg Muhammed Guler, 68 kg Serkan Sagir and 80 kg Osman Gecit won gold medals while 68 kg Nimet Can Copuroglu and 80 kg Kemal Tokgoz won bronze medals.
Turkey ranked the first as a team in the World Taekwando Championships, a championship attended by Turkey for the first time in its history.
