ISTANBUL - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan returned from France to Turkey on Saturday.
Toptan attended the meeting of parliament speakers of Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
He told reporters that he held meetings with parliament speakers of various countries in France.
Toptan said that parliament speakers of Turkey, Germany and Hungary would convene in Hungary in October, and discuss preparations for the cities which were selected as 2010 European Capital of Culture.
Toptan said that he also held meetings with parliament speakers of Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Albania, and deputy parliament speaker of Bulgaria, and they agreed to continue the mutual relations.
