ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay a formal visit to Japan between June 3rd and 8th.
Presidency press center stated on Saturday that state ministers Kursad Tuzmen and Mehmet Simsek as well as a high-level group of bureaucrats and businessmen would accompany Gul.
Gul will meet Japanese Emperor Akihito, Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Japanese Parliament`s Upper House President Satsuki Eda and Speaker of Japanese House of Representatives Yohei Kono.
Gul will also meet executives of Japanese companies which have investments in Turkey. He will participate in Turkey-Japan Business Forum in Tokyo as well as Investment Forum in Osaka.
Gul will proceed to Kushimoto town (where Turkish Ertugrul frigate sank) on June 7th, and attend a memorial ceremony at Ertugrul Martyr Monument.
He will proceed to Osaka and depart from Japan on June 8th.
