ANKARA - Turkey`s Central Bank revised Friday its -year-end inflation rate projections up to 9.64 percent.
The Central Bank announced the figures of May`s 2nd expectancy survey.
According to the expectancy survey, the inflation rate, based on the consumer prices index (TUFE), will be 9.64 percent at the end of 2008.
CB`s year-end inflation rate projection in May`s first survey was 9.55.
The bank`s survey also showed that year-end current account deficit is expected to increase to 45.6 billion USD. It was 44.9 billion USD in the previous survey.
CB also revised its year-end exchange rate projection for U.S. dollar down to 1.3437 YTL.
