Pakistani Naval Staff Chief Decorated With Medal Of Merit Of Turkish Armed Forces

ANKARA - Pakistan`s Naval Staff Chief Admiral Muhammad Afsal Tahir was decorated with the medal of merit of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in Ankara on Friday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Turkish Naval Forces Commander Admiral Metin Atac said he was proud to give the medal of merit of TSK to Admiral Tahir and Turkish people attached a special importance to Pakistani people.
Pakistan and Turkey made remarkable contributions to regional and global security, Admiral Atac said.
Pakistani Admiral Tahir said it was a great honor for him to receive the medal of merit of TSK.
Sound relations between naval forces of the two countries would boost bilateral ties, Tahir said.
