It Would Be Difficult For Me To Stay At Fenerbahce, Zico

Turkish soccer giant Fenerbahce and its coach Arthur Zico are parting ways. Zico made a statement prior to the timetable he had given to Fenerbahce: "It would be difficult for me to stay at Fenerbahce".
Answering questions of Fenerbahce fans at the internet site www.uefa.com, Zico said :
"We have reached nowhere in negotiations with the management of Fenerbahce. The developments that took place did not go as I planned".
"Some problems emerged with my assistants 15 days before my contract ended. I was saddened by such problems. I thought that, after two seasons, I would have been offered a longer time period", Zico noted.
Zico is currently in touch with Portuguese soccer club Benfica and Italian team Lazio.
