Turkey Adopted A Law Making It Possible For Turks Living Out Of Turkey To Vote In Elections, Yazicioglu

NEW YORK - Turkish State Minister Mustafa Said Yazicioglu said Friday the most important problem of Turks living out of Turkey had to do with inability to vote in Turkish elections.
"The Turkish government got a draft law prepared on voting in elections and the parliament adopted the law making it possible for Turks living out of Turkey to vote in elections. A part of this law was taken to the Turkish Constitutional Court and we are waiting for the court`s decision. We may make a new arrangement if necessary", Yazicioglu said.
Yazicioglu came to New York to attend the Turkish Day Parade and Festival on Saturday. He will hold talks in New York with representatives of American-Turkish associations on Friday.
