Ankara - Istanbul Railway Transportation To Restart After Reports Of Experts

ANKARA - Ankara-Istanbul railway connection, which stopped due to high-speed train derailment in Sakarya, will resume after experts submit their respective reports, officials said.
Train services between Ankara and Istanbul stopped after high-speed train accident which occurred in Mekece-Osmaneli route on July 22 and caused death of 38 people.
Turkish and foreign experts are pursuing their examinations on the ground. Besides Turkish experts, teams from Korea, the Netherlands and Spain will examine the accident scene. Following the examinations, teams will present their reports.
Turkish Transportation Ministry will decide whether to restart Ankara-Istanbul train services according to the reports.
